The newest installment in the "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm" franchise looks to be the most difficult to date.
Tech Times reports that a recent trailer for the game has been released and shows that the final boss for the game will be none other than Princess Kaguya Otsutski. For those who are not familiar with the character, Princess Kaguya Otsutksi is the final villain in the long running "Naruto Shippuden" anime series. In this world she is the first user of chakra and also the first ten-tailed beast. Otustksi had eaten the fruit of the forbidden tree which was what had given her the powers to manipulate her chakra, or the energy that allow people to do ninjitsu.
Vice president for marketing and digital, Herve Hoerdt, stated that Bandai Namco Entertainment and CyberConnect 2 are looking to make the biggest and best Naruto Shippuden game. According to Hoerdt the latest addition to the series will blow all the other games out of the water.
Geek Snack reports that this installment will feature the largest selection of playable characters as well as secret characters that the player will need to unlock. This is a statement considering the last game features over 50 characters. This will mean that many characters will get multiple versions of themselves with each version being different from the others.
The story mode for "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will be based off the last arc of the "Naruto Shippuden" manga and will feature older versions of Team 7, as well as characters like Hinata who were prominent in the "The Last: Naruto the Move."
Collectors will also be happy that Bandai has announced there will be a collector's edition of the game to be released as well. This version of the game will include a game box which will house a Naruto figurine, an art book, a steel book which will feature both Naruto's and Sasuke's final form, as well as a Sasuke future pack metal case.
"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" is set to be released on all platforms, and X-Box and Playstation users who pre-order the game will receive bonus features. These features will include characters not available to others such as Boruto Uzumaki, Sarada Uchiha, and alternate versions of Naruto and Sasuke.
There is no word yet on when the game is going to be released, but based on the release dates of the previous titles in the series gamers could probably expect it by fall of 2015.
