Will Microsoft Surface Pro 4 Finally Come Out This Month? Specs, Release Date, Features & Details Here!

Good news for techies as new details about the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has been unveiled if the reports and rumors are to be believed.

According to Arash Fehkri of Master Herald, it has been alleged that Microsoft has planned the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release date to coincide with the Windows 10 release date on July 29, 2015.

However, fans shouldn't rejoice yet as the report notes that Microsoft has not yet confirmed all the details about the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release date because of some internal problems that recently arose inside the company.

Kristin Mariano of Yibada has reported that the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 release date may be delayed or not even happen at all as Microsoft is set to endure another round of job cuts and these would mean that employees who worked for Microsoft's various business units like Bing, Skype, Office Business Intelligence, Azure and Surface Pro would be removed and it may cause those projects to dwindle in their performance numbers due to the lack of manpower.

Should Microsoft release the Surface Pro 4, what kind of specs would it have?

According to Master Herald, the Surface Pro 4 would come with Windows 10 as its operating system.

The report also notes that the Surface Pro 4 would sport a fan-less Intel Broadwell mobile processor. It will have a 12-inch touchscreen display with a screen resolution of 2,160 x 1,440.

The report also mentions that the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will be very similar to the Surface Pro 3 as will have the same size and weight but with a significantly thinner form factor.

It has also been speculated that Microsoft could launch a bigger variant of the Surface Pro 4 in the near future, should it release the Surface Pro 4 at all.

According to the report, the bigger Surface Pro 4 would feature a 14-inch touchscreen display.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is also expected to be priced around the $700 range while Microsoft has also allegedly stated that the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is expected to be compatible with the type 3 cover and docking station.
