Techies and phone aficionados around the world are eagerly awaiting Apple's official announcement about the iPhone 6s but people may not have to wait any longer as a bunch of alleged leaked details about the phone have leaked online.
According to a report by Joe Rossignol of Mac Rumors, an alleged document from Foxconn, detailing the specs of the iPhone 6s specs have been leaked online.
As was noted on the report, the iPhone 6s could indeed have a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera that is capable of recording videos in 4K, 240 FPS slow-motion capabilities and have 2GB of RAM.
Meanwhile, Roger Fingas of Apple Insider has reported on other alleged specs of the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus, once again noting the camera capabilities of the phones.
Aside from pointing out that the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus would allegedly have 12-megapixel rear cameras, 4K support and 240 fps video, the report notes that the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6s Plus would have a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
With regards to other details about the release date, pricing and what to expect from the new iPhones, 9-to-5 Mac Senior Editor Marc Gurman, per CNBC had these to say.
"One of the big things we reported that will be coming is the inclusion of a new processor for wireless networking from Qualcomm, which will allow data speeds over 4G to move twice as fast, which means emails [will be] downloaded faster and web pages loading more quickly," said Gurman.
The report also notes that come fall 2015, consumers should expect that the price of the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus could be between $199 on-contract and over $500 off-contract, in line with previous iPhone models.
Oliver Wheaton of Metro.co.uk has also reported about some of the possible software features that would be introduced in iOS once the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus are launched.
The report notes that the new version of iOS would some amazing new features, like the pressure sensitive display dubbed the "Force Touch".
They've also noted that the new iPhones would have an updated keyboard for easier typing/texting.
They've also covered a new and useful feature to the updated iMessage as they note that iOS9 users will now be able to set who does and doesn't receive the "message read" receipts.
