Samsung's big day is finally here.
Today, at 1 p.m. EST, the company is expected to reveal what many consumers and fans have been endlessly surfing the internet for: the Samsung Galaxy S3.
Questions such as "What does it look like?" or "What are its specs?" or even "What can it do?" will all be put to rest during Samsung's 'Mobile Unpacked 2012' event at the Earls Court Olympic venue in London when the phone is unveiled to the world.
There is little reason to doubt that the event will serve as a platform to introduce the Galaxy S3 this time instead of later on in the year. Samsung event tweeted the following, "Join us live at UNPACKED 2012, where the dawn of the next GALAXY will soon be revealed before the world."
The Galaxy S3 or SIII is projected to sport a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, a high-resolution 4.8-inch touch screen display, a 12-megapixel camera and should run Android's latest mobile operating system dubbed Ice Cream Sandwich for now.
Also according to GSM arena, who received an anonymous tip, the Galaxy S3 is to come in two colors, Blue and White. This may mean that the company may have ditched the standard "black" for the new handheld.
Not only that, Unwire HK obtained a display protector for the device that clearly shows how big the screen is.
