Rumors have been running rampant for game Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale.
According to Gamingbolt, the killer app title might have a collector's edition coming out after its release. Lead game designer Seth Killian recently tweeted a picture of fan-made cover art and hinted that it could be used for the "criterion edition" of the title. There has currently been no news of this possibility, but Killian's tweet will certainly create a great deal of speculation in coming weeks.
Game characters Ratchet and Clank will be featured heavily 2012. Seven days after the release of Playstation All-Stars, the franchise will celebrate its 10th anniversary by releasing Ratchet and Clank: Full Frontal Assault. The duo has been featured in 11 titles since its first back in 2002 and is one of Sony's most popular franchises. In All-Stars, the duo is filled with a plethora of long-range attacks as well as speed.
Square Attack
(Regular Square) Multi-Strike: One handed alternating wrench swings that end with a 360-degree spin attack that ejects opponents.
(Forward) Comet-Strike (Wrench Throw): Ratchet throws wrench in front that travels about 3 meters and returns.
(Up) Lightning Ravager: An electrically charged whip that stuns enemies. Ratchet stands in place with an upward whipping motion.
(Down) Hyper Strike (Wrench Overhead Slam): He leaps into the air with a wrench held over his head with both hands and then slams it into the ground for a small ADE effect that launches opponents slightly.
Air Square Attacks
(Regular) Aerial Wrench 3 Hit Combo: Ratchet hovers in mid air using his hover boots while performing his ground wrench combo.
(Forward) Aerial Comet Strike: Hovers using hover boots and tosses the wrench forward. It travels three meters and then returns and causes heavy reaction.
(Up) Aerial Lightning Ravager: Same as the ground move but in the air.
(Down) Aerial Hyper Strike: He leaps into the air with a wrench held over his head with both hands and then slams it into the ground for a small ADE effect that launches opponents slightly.
Triangle Attacks
(Regular) Sonic Eruptor: Sends foes flying with a thunderous belching sound that emanates from the small creature held in this weapon. Ratchet can charge it for a bigger blast.
(Forward) Constructo Pistol: Shoots repeated blasts.
(Up) Agents of Doom: Ratchet tosses out a small capsule that explodes on contact with the environment. It then releases four small robots that walk forward and explode upon impact with the environment or other enemies.
(Down) Tesla Spike: Ratchet overhand tosses a tesla spike in front of him.
Air Triangle
(Regular) Aerial Sonic Eruptor: Sends foes flying with a thunderous belching sound that emanates from the small creature held in this weapon. Ratchet can charge it for a bigger blast.
(Forward) Aerial Constructo Pistol: Shoots repeated blasts.
(Up) Aerial Agents of Doom: Ratchet tosses out a small capsule that explodes on contact with the environment. It then releases four small robots that walk forward and explode upon impact with the environment or other enemies.
(Down) Aerial Tesla Spike: Ratchet overhand tosses a tesla spike in front of him.
Circle Attacks
(Regular) Plasma Striker: Long range energy based cross bow that functions much like a sniper rifle. Holding down the Circle button causes a targeting beam to appear. Use LS to aim targeting beam. Releasing the button will cause the rifle to fire.
(Forward) Warmonger: He fires a rocket.
(Up) Mr. Zurkon: A pet that stays close to Ratchet and Clank and auto attacks enemies when they come close.
(Down) Buzz Blade: Ratchet stands in place and fires the Buzz Blades.
Air Circle Attacks
(Regular) Aerial Plasma Striker: Long range energy based cross bow that functions much like a sniper rifle. Holding down the Circle button causes a targeting beam to appear. Use LS to aim targeting beam. Releasing the button will cause the rifle to fire.
(Forward) Aerial Warmonger: He fires a rocket.
(Up) Aerial Mr. Zurkon: A pet that stays close to Ratchet and Clank and auto attacks enemies when they come close.
(Down) Aerial Buzz Blade: Ratchet stands in place and fires the Buzz Blades.
His Level One super is RYNO V and Ratchet pulls out the machine gun and starts firing away. His level two Super is Clank goes Commando and the player controls Clank for seven seconds. He can jump double jump, glide, and swing his Chronoscepter which kills every opponent upon impact. His final Super is the Flight of Aphelion in which Ratchet's ship flies to the background and he can start shooting opponents from off screen. It is similar to Snake's final Smash from Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
