'GTA 6' Location Revealed? Release Date, Gameplay, News & Rumors Here!

"Grand Theft Auto 6" is still years from launching but gamers are already talking about the game's possible setting, characters and story.

Master Herald reported that there is still no confirmed information regarding "GTA 6" so most of the details about the game are merely speculations and fan suggestions.

Leslie Benzies, head of Rockstar Games, mentioned that they have 45 years' worth of ideas that they can apply in "GTA 6" during a press conference in October 2013, reported GTA6GrandTheftAuto.com. He said that they still do not know what "GTA VI" will be but they already have a number of ideas. DJ Whoo Kid also talked about being involved in "Grand Theft Auto" games, with the new version reportedly taking place in New York again.

Based on the same report by Master Herald, "Grand Theft Auto 6" will reportedly include different cities in the United States, such as Los Angeles, New York, Portland and Miami, among others. There are even talks that the game setting would be the entire country. Other rumors indicated that the game would be based in London, as stated by Rockstar Games headwriter Dan Houser. There are also rumors that the game will be located in the Middle East next, featuring terrorists. Overall, these are all speculations and Rockstar Games are not expected to confirm any of the details soon.

Christian Today wrote that there are speculations that feature actor Ryan Gosling as the main protagonist in "GTA 6". The info reportedly stemmed from an anonymous insider from Rockstar Games. There is a possibility that the next installment will happen in Vice City during the 1980s, considering how a portion of the lead protagonist was especially suited for Gosling. The next title may be adapted from Gosling's movie "Drive", which was said to be inspired by "GTA: Vice City". Rockstar Games also declined to comment regarding Gosling's possible involvement.

Dan Houser also shared how the sixth installment of the game may feature a playable female character. "GTA 6" might present a story with three main characters, similar to "GTA V".

Houser said in another report by Christian Today, "In the future, could we do a game with a lead female character? Of course. We just haven't found the right game for it yet, but it's one of the things we always think about."

It will take several months before gamers can get confirmation from Rockstar Games. The game developer is still heavily involved in "GTA V" because of its huge success and continuous popularity.
