Bethesda this week released a teaser for the upcoming "Fallout 4" game, surprising many of its fans around the world. This however caused doubts among "Elder Scrolls" fans.
Cross Map aired the possibility of the game being absent during the upcoming E3 event where Bethesda will be participating and details about its next video games are expected to be revealed.
The next "Elder Scrolls 6" is expected to be unveiled this year, Cross Map said, since Bethesda usually releases new "Elder Scrolls" every four years. Though it indeed released the "Elder Scrolls Online" this year, some still think that it is a different one, still hoping for another "Elder Scrolls" game installment. However, with Bethesda's "Fallout 4" confirmation, "Elder Scrolls 6" becomes shady.
Venture Capital Post for instance reported that the chances of the new game installment being released in March next year are now becoming "slim." Here's VC Post's explanation:
"Players who have been following E3 year after year would very well know that 2015 will be the first time for Bethesda to hold a press conference...Unlike Elder Scrolls 6, Fallout 4 has been receiving a lot of substantial leaks when it comes to its development and gameplay. The same cannot be said about the fantasy RPG...With this in mind, fans will have to prepare themselves for the likely delay of Elder Scrolls 6," to quote parts of the VC Post report.
According to the rumors, the new "Elder Scrolls" game will be called "Elder Scrolls VI: Argonia." The game will reportedly start at the Black Marsh or Argonia. Bethesda earlier teased that players in this new installment will now be permitted to explore other parts of Tramiel like Morrowind, Skyrim, Cyrodill, and Hammerfall.
Christian Today meanwhile said that some are looking at a next "Elder Scrolls" game set in Akavir, "the homeland of all the four collective races that are not related with each other." These four are the Serpent-Men of Tsaesci, the Snow Demons of Kamal, the Tiger Dragons of Ka'PoTun, and the Monkey People of Tang Mo.
The rumors about "Elder Scrolls 6" grew stronger and earned fans' attention when it has been reported that Bethesda might be hiring voice actors to work for its new project "AAA video game title" wherein a hero fights "war in Skyrim." Also, The Fuse Joplin noted that Bethesda game director Todd Howard announced in 2011 that they are working on two big projects. Some then had a hunch that one of the two might be the next "Elder Scrolls."
