iPod Touch 6th Gen Out Alongside iPhone 6S? Release Date, Specs, Features, Price & Rumors Here!

Recent rumors are saying that Apple would be launching the next iPod Touch with the iPhone 6S. Stabley Times in its June 3 report said that the two new devices are likely to come out in fall.

Earlier, Master Herald reported about the possibility of a June launch for the new music player. In its report, it said that the new device might come out during the upcoming World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) which has been set from June 8 to 12.

But a more recent report from the news outlet has revealed that the launch might unlikely happen since the event is supposed to be for software developers. There is still no assurance that the next iPod Touch will come out soon. But it seems that many fans are already looking forward and waiting for its arrival.

What Else Do We Know So Far

In our previous reports, we have discussed most of the speculations about this new Apple device. Some have dubbed it to be the "perfect" music and entertainment device. Some said it would be water-resistant. Some bet it would be an iPhone and iPod turned into one.

These rumors are of course still not final. And they continue to remain as rumors as Apple has maintained its stance, being mum about the matter.

Specs & Features

According to Cross Map, the next iPod Touch 6th Generation will be thinner with a colorful plastic back. The device is said to be available in a variety of colors - pink, yellow, orange, green, blue, silver, and space grey.

The iPod Touch 6th Gen is expected to get an A9 processor. It is also believed that it would come out with iOS 9. Speculations are even brewing that the device would be getting Apple's digital assistant Siri and the Touch ID fingerprint sensor. The device is expected to get an 8-megapixel main camera. It is also believed that it would be available in two sizes - one with a 4.7-inch screen and one with a 5.5-inch display size.

Gospel Herald added that the device would also be getting the Apple Pay feature. As for the price, it is believed that the device would start at $250, depending on the storage variant.
