Apple has launched the latest version to their mobile operating system (OS) following the release of their iOS 6 in September.
The new OS, which spawns off from the iOS 6, is known as the iOS 6.0.1.
The latest version fixes several bugs that have arose when the iOS 6 launched, including prevention
According to Apple, the iOS 6.0.1 does the following:

- Fixes a bug where horizontal lines may be displayed cross the keyboard
- Fixes an issue where the camera flash might not activate
- Improves reliability of the iPhone 5 and iPod Touch 5th-generation when connected to an encrypted WPA2 Wi-Fi network
- Resolves an issue where the iPhone might not be able to use cellular network in some circumstances
- Consolidated the Use Cellular Data switch for iTunes Match
- Fixes a Passcode Lock bug, which sometimes allowed access to Passbook details from the lock screen.
- Fixes a bug affecting Exchange meetings.
The devices eligible for the upgrade are the iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 5, iPad 3, iPad 2, and the fourth generation of the iPod Touch.
The 69.7MB update is available via iTunes and wirelessly (clicking Settings, General, and then Software Update), and important to note, it does not fix Apple Maps.
