Will Bethesda finally unveil the much-awaited "Fallout 4" this June?
Venture Capital Post has reported that the release of the next "Fallout" game installment is imminent, after it has been announced that Redbox would restock "Fallout 3" in their kiosks in North America on the 16th of June.
Actually, there have been mixed reports regarding the release of the alleged new game. IGN citing German website PC Games have earlier reported that Bethesda would be unveiling its latest "Fallout" game franchise during next month's E3 conference.
PC Games said an anonymous insider told them that a "Fallout 4" gameplay video will be shown during the event. The demo will allegedly be between 20 to 30 minutes. But VG 24/7 believes the clip would only be shown to "invited press outlets."
Last month, Matt Grandstaff, a Community Manager at Bethesda Softworks, posted Bethesda's official statement inviting fans for its first-ever E3 Showcase. A photo detailing the upcoming event accompanied the invite. Game Rant noticed that there was a list of Bethesda franchise characters that was put on the reserved seats in the photo. The list includes BJ Blazkowicz from 'Wolfenstein', Sebastian from 'The Evil Within', Cyberdemon from 'Doom', and Tall Boy from 'Dishonored'. It noted that "Fallout" characters were out of the picture, disappointing many fans. Bethesda's showcase will happen on the Sunday before E3, June 14.
VC Post said that there have been rumors that the next game would take place in Boston. Culture Mob said there were speculations that the upcoming game would have a multiplayer version, following reports revealing that Josh Hamrick allegedly joined the Bethesda team.
As for the release date, Cyberland earlier revealed that a certain "Gino Cole" has leaked that the next "Fallout" game would come out in May next year.
"A guy who works for Bethesda named Gino Cole posted in his LinkedIn profile that he has been part of the development team for 'Fallout 4' for 3 years now. His page also mentions that 'Fallout 4' is planned to be released this May 2016," Cyberland said.
Master Herald on the other hand says it would likely be released in March next year. The new game is speculated to be available on the newest consoles and PC. IGN earlier reported that the Bethesda could indeed unveil the next "Fallout" game during Bethesda's upcoming and first E3 Conference considering the many rumors surrounding it.
