Although Assassin's Creed launches tomorrow it already has its first review.
If this review is true to its word, then this may be the best title in the series and one of the best games of the year.
Italian publication Xbox 360 Magazine has come out and given it 10 of 10 and claims the title to be "an absolute masterpiece to which the experience remains indispensible for any fan of video games and beyond." The magazine praised the longevity and depth of the gameplay and proclaimed it one of the best games of this generation. It also talked about how strong the combat system was and called the naval battles the "most beautiful" of all time. More on the review can be seen HERE.
Inentertanment however notes that while the review is extremely positive, the publication fails to mention the bugs that gamers have been complaining about. With one more day left before the game launches, will Ubisoft still fix this bug?
Early comments from users have not been as positive as some fans complained about the game's ending (For more information on the ending Spoilers (including a video of the ending) and the users' comments, click HERE).
The first title in the series was well received and had an 81/100 score on aggregate website Metacritic and an 82.48 percent approval rating on Game Rankings. The sequel was even more beloved with the Game Rankings approval rating rising to 90.49 percent while the Metacritic aggregate score was a 92/100 for the PS 3 version and a 90/100 for the Xbox 360 version.
The embargo on reviews ends tomorrow when the title finally launches for the Xbox 360 and PS 3. Another version is slated to launch with the Wii U on November 18.
