iPad Mini 4 Out in October? Confirmed For Verizon?

The next iPad Mini tablet is believed to come out this October, Christian Today recently reported.

But so far, no official announcement has been made regarding the matter. Remember that Christian Post earlier speculated that the official market release of the iPad Mini 4 would be in September while Mac World bets it would come out in October.

Last March, many fans were waiting for the new iPad Mini to be unveiled at the "Spring Forward" event. However, it did not come out. Instead, we saw the new Apple Watch and the gold Retina MacBook.

The upcoming iPad Mini 4 is said to have a 7.9-inch display screen. The device is expected to boast of its powerful A8X processor which are currently in the iPad Air 2, as reported by MacWorld. However, Gotta Be Mobile and Venture Capital Post say it would probably be an A9 processor.

Christian Today said it is more likely that the processor would be an A9 since there have been rumors that new chips from Samsung electronics are already on the way.

This news comes from Venture Capital Post also said that the next iPad Mini tablet is expected to be slimmer and faster than its predecessor, iPad Mini 3. It is also said to have the 802.11ac connectivity feature. Plus, it would get a 2 GB RAM.

A release of the next iPad Mini is "timely," says Venture Capital Post, especially since no significant specs upgrade, other than the new fingerprint sensor and gold color variant, were seen in the previous iPad Mini 3.

Time magazine earlier featured the wAshraf Eassa from Motley Fool. The report said that it is likely that the next iPad Mini could be the one many fans have been waiting for, also citing the very little improvements the iPad Mini 3 had. It also aired a request for better display for the next iPad Mini tablet.

Meanwhile, Tech Times has reported that Verizon would be offering the next iPad Mini 4 along other devices Sony Xperia Z4, LG G Pad X 8.3, and the mid-range HTC Desire 526 soon. The iPad Mini 4 and LG G Pad X 8.3 have not yet been unveiled to date. Cited as its source was leaker Evan Blass.

Not much details have been revealed about the upcoming iPad Mini 4. We still couldn't even confirm whether which of these speculations are true or if the tablet is indeed gonna come out soon. Apple has also remained mum on the matter.
