Nintendo's Wii U will launch on November 18 with 23 promising launch titles.

The Wii U's opening day lineup has been touted for its variety and how it addresses a diverse range of consumers. But not all may be sunny for Wii U owners. While most third party titles will include the same or more content as their Xbox 360 or PS 3 counterparts, one title seems to be lacking in this department: FIFA 13.

With few sports titles in the lineup, FIFA 13 is arguably the major game for sports fans. However, it was recently announced that the title will lack features available for the other consoles. According to producer Matt Prior, it was "not technically feasible" for EA's Wii U team to achieve complete parity in the first year because the system is too new and the other development teams make changes far quicker. He added that the title will not include some of the later improvements that the other versions got. Additionally, the Wii U version will also lack FIFA Ultimate Team because the Wii U's online system is in its "infancy." In this mode, players can go online and form their own fantasy team from over 8,000 players with which they can compete online.

On the plus side however are all the features the Wii U will include. Computer and Video Games stated that the visuals are improved in many areas because the Wii U has more memory. (CORRECTION)The title features  the Player Impact Engine, tactical defending, and precision dribbling. It also includes Popular FIFA Seasons.

Other new features are the new viewpoint on the gamepad during set pieces as well as allowing players to shoot and pass by touching the touchscreen. While defending, players can tap the name of a defender to switch control with ease. While defending, players can tap on the names of the attacking player and the nearest defender will tackle and defend that player. The other major addition is Manager Mode or the ability for players to do tactical tweaks or substitutions at whim with the gamepad. The game could even allow another player to make the tactical changes with the pad while the other player players off the TV screen. The Wii U also allowed for up to 5 players, one with the gamepad, and four with either the Pro Controller or the Wiimotes.
