Attention "Star Wars" fans! Game Spresso has reported that there are some images showing that the upcoming "Star Wars: Battlefront" game might come out with a collector's edition.
The news outlet also provided photos for the said special editions. You can check out the one for Xbox One here and the one for PS4 here.
"The images seem to look legit and I certainly hope they are because they look pretty impressive as well. One of the editions - the Bounty Hunter edition - which is pictured for the Xbox One, appears to contain an art book as well as a badass Boba Fett-esque bounty hunter helmet plus instructions for putting it together. I doubt that the helmet is wearable, but it looks like it would be a cool piece to put on your shelf anyway," Game Spresso detailed.
"For reference, both editions will likely be available on both platforms, but the PS4 edition pictured is the Stormtrooper Edition which contains the same contents except for the helmet which is, you guessed it, a stormtrooper's helmet," it added.
We know that some of you might be already excited with this new piece of information but many fans have been questioning the legitimacy of such photo advertisement. So, here's the sad part: Attack of the Fanboy has just confirmed that the said images were fake.
"Star Wars Battlefront" which will be available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC is said to come out this December to coincide with the release of the movie "Star Wars Episode 7: Force Awakens."
To date, many are still waiting for the game's official gameplay trailer. But it is expected that the wait will finally end this April as DICE and Electronic Arts have recently revealed that fans will be able to witness it during the Star Wars Celebration on the 17th.
"...[W]e will be hosting a panel at Celebration on April 17th, kicking off at 10:30AM PT, where we will debut the official reveal trailer for 'Star Wars Battlefront'. Make sure to get to the show early to secure your seat. But that is not all... All attendees will have a chance to see gameplay behind closed doors during the show at our official booth along with a few other activities starting that Friday," an official statement from EA's Star Wars Community Team read.
The much-awaited trailer will also air on official EA Star Wars channels and website during the show.
