The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will hit the United States this week, with Samsung holding a launch event in New York on October 24. T-Mobile customers are certainly some of the most excited after being left out of iPhone 5 mania, and details on T-Mobile's Galaxy Note 2 are beginning to surface.

A Wal-Mart price leak caught by TMONews shows that the T-Mobile Galaxy Note 2 should be priced at $299.99. TMONews also states that Walmart is generally less expensive than T-Mobile (which prices the Samsung Galaxy S3 higher than competitors).

TMONews also got ahold of a T-Mobile internal sales document that lists the Galaxy Note 2 under "Product Launches" and has a release date of October 24 - the same day as Samsung's event.

T-Mobile's website has also started listing the Galaxy Note 2, although it only has the phrase "Coming Soon!" as a release date. More likely than not, T-Mobile will do its best to offer the Galaxy Note 2 as soon as possible, because along with U.S. Cellular, it is one of the two Galaxy Note 2 carriers that haven't offered the iPhone 5.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will ship with a 5.55-inch HD Super AMOLED display and a blazing-fast 1.6GHz quad-core processor. The Galaxy Note 2 will also feature 4G LTE capabilities (sorry T-Mobile customers), and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The massive handset will also feature the Samsung S Pen stylus, which Samsung hopes will make the Galaxy Note 2 a "digital notepad."

The Galaxy Note 2 will also be offered on carriers AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and U.S. Cellular (which has begun taking pre-orders for $299.99). Sprint has confirmed a release date of October 25, and a pricing of $299.99.
