The much awaited "Mass Effect 4" will be available before March 2016 ends, an analyst has predicted. According to the April 8 report of Video Gamer, this industry analyst is Michael Pachter of Wedbush Securities.
Aside from "Mass Effect 4's" release date, the report also mentioned another rumored upcoming game called "Mirror's Edge 2" which is also set to come out before the end of March next year. Plus we also heard about "Need For Speed" and "Star Wars: Battlefront."
"EA's strong presence on the next-gen consoles positions the company to thrive in coming years...FY:16 is expected to feature incremental releases 'Mass Effect 4', 'Mirror's Edge 2', a new 'Need For Speed' game, and 'Star Wars: Battlefront', as well as meaningful re-orders for Battlefield Hardline, which launched in late Q4:15," Video Gamer quoted the report posted by Wedbush.
Cinema Blend meanwhile encourages readers, especially gamers, to not rely on these predictions. Although the news outlet cited Pachter's and his team's competence, it still urged people to wait for the real and official announcement from EA.
"[A]ll of this information should be taken with a rather large grain of salt...Until EA stamps a release date on either 'Mass Effect 4' or 'Mirror's Edge 2', you probably shouldn't bother gearing up for a pre-order. And given how many games have been pushed back as of late, even a bona fide release date announcement should be considered a placeholder until the developers set something in stone," Cinema Blend said.
Ryan Winslett, author of the Cinema Blend report, said that he himself is not sure whether the two new game installments would really come out on that date. However, he looks forward to the upcoming E3 2015 event as EA might have something for its fans there.
Game Rant reported that the next "Mass Effect" game would feature new game characters, new worlds, and even new alien races. You can also check out our earlier report detailing on this aspect here.
In that report, we cited International Business Times which said that there are speculations that a "fresh" protagonist might come in the new game. Speculations tell that the new protagonist won't be another version of Commander Shepard and that it won't be a "direct continuation of the Commander's story."
Earlier this month, we also heard Chris Wynn, Bioware Senior Development Director, took to Twitter to announce an unspecified development about the game.

Executive producer Casey Hudson and BioWare's Edmonton and Montreal boss Aaryn Flynn have also teased fans on Twitter about the upcoming game. "What's even more fun than working on the design of a new fictional world? Taking our first steps into it and looking around," Hudson tweeted.
"Great time playing the next Mass Effect game in Montreal. Ambitious. Beautiful. Fresh but recognisable. And fun!," Flynn on the other hand said.
