Gamers are expecting more updates and details to be revealed on "Persona 5" at the E3 2015 press conference in June.

VC Post reported that "Persona 5" is expected by fans to be the best compared to all its predecessors, featuring new playable characters, excellent gameplay and an interactive multiplayer mode.

"Persona 5" will be the fifth title in the series of "Shin Megami Tensei: Persona," focusing on the life of a school boy who has the ability to summon various aspects of his psyche, known as the Personas. There will be new exploration features as players move through the scenes and take on the role-playing game. There will also be different variations in the environments, although everything will be linked to the plot of the game.

The game is developed by Atlus' P-Studio and confirmed by game director Katsura Hashino in 2012. According to game developers, they aimed to improve the game speed and provide better quality graphics in the upcoming title. As for the music, there were several inspirations. The development team also included a special-built engine to ensure that gameplay remains smooth and consistent.

Crossmap reported that the game will be highly advanced in terms of graphics, compared to its predecessor. Especially on the PlayStation 4, "Persona 5" is said to look excellent. The soundtrack has also gained positive reviews. There is no official release date yet confirmed by Atlus, although there are talks that the company might be launching it before the end of 2015 in North America and Japan.

Kotaku reported that game director Hashino revealed some details about the main character to Weekly Famitsu.

He said, "In this day and age, many people feel they don't know where they're going and carry personal problems, big and small."

Hashino added, "You may not be able to achieve happiness by simply following the set rules or values, but at the same time, it's hard to work up the courage to take initiative and change the status quo. That sort of negative side of modern society serves as one of the backbones of this game."

He explained in the same Kotaku report, "For this game, much like the previous games, the player is the protagonist, however, unlike 'Persona 3' or 'Persona 4', this protagonist carries his own issues and unless he resists in some way, he may be facing a very difficult future." Hashino said, "There was a scene where the protagonist was dressed as a prisoner, you could say that he was in a 'spiritual prison' of sorts.

A brand new game teaser for "Persona 5" was recently unveiled, garnering positive reviews from fans. The game is exclusive to Sony consoles, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
