The much-awaited "Fallout 4" game is rumored to come out next year. The news comes from Kdramastars which cited an online user named Cyberland who posted last week that somebody from Bethesda revealed the game's release date to be May 2016.
"A guy who works for Bethesda named Gino Cole posted in his LinkedIn profile that he has been part of the development team for 'Fallout 4' for 3 years now. His page also mentions that 'Fallout 4' is planned to be released this May 2016," Cyberland said.
We earlier reported that the next game would likely be announced during Bethesda's upcoming and first E3 press conference. This speculation was also backed by IGN.
"The title most expect to be announced is Fallout 4, rumours of which have been flying for years. After a couple of years of rumors, including a reference from a voice actor in 2013, a trademark for Fallout 4 in Europe, and even a website that ended up being a hoax, leaked documents back in 2013 suggested the title would be set in Massachusetts.
"Now, if denizens of the web are to be believed, we could be mere months from finding out for certain...While there's an outlying chance we could be seeing a new Elder Scrolls title, it seems unlikely given The Elder Scrolls Online will have just hit consoles and Skyrim only arrived four years ago. Considering the last Fallout game arrived in 2010, we've been waiting slightly longer for a new one of those," the IGN report reads.
The Bitbag, on the other hand, believes that fans could see even more, saying that other games such as "Wolfenstein," "Elder Scrolls 6," and "Dishonored" could be presented.
In February, Bethesda announced that it will host its first E3 Conference this June. Here is the official statement posted on its blog:
"We're hosting our first-ever E3 Showcase in Hollywood, CA on June 14th and we've saved some seats just for you, our fans. Feel like a celebrity by attending our most exciting event yet, live and in-person! Keep an eye out - in the coming months we'll be sharing details on how you can register to attend.
"Can't make it out to LA to join us? Don't worry, we have you covered. On Twitch.TV/Bethesda (Follow here), you'll be able to tune in on 6/14 and watch every moment live!"
An event teaser poster sayd that Bethesda is "almost ready for its close up." What does this mean? Could this mean that a big announcement is going to be made during the event?
