Recent rumors are saying that the sixth installment of the "Elder Scrolls" video game will come out earlier than expected. Last month, we reported that the much-awaited game would be out in 2016. However, a recent report from The Gospel Herald says there are speculations points to a 2015 release for the much awaited game from Bethesda.
The news outlet noted that there are some speculations that the release would happen after Bethesda's announcement at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles in mid-June. It added that there have been some confirmation about a Bethesda press event during the conference. However, The Gospel Herald seems to have some reservations about it, saying a "Elder Scrolls 6" release this June is unlikely but a game announcement at the E3 event is a possibility.
"The question at this point isn't if a sixth 'Elder Scrolls' will happen but when and where will it take place? Will it follow the world of Morrowind, or keep going with Skyrim? Looking at each game's storyline, the destruction of towers is certainly a theme -- both indirectly and indirectly. Six of the eight great towers have already fallen, with the two remaining being Green-Sap and the Adamantine Tower. Green-Sap would make the most sense to be next in line, according to lore, so that would mean we could see Elder Scrolls 6 taking place in the Wood-Elf haven of Valenwood," Gospel Herald's Shawn Schuster wrote.
Aside from Valenwood, there are also whispers that it would happen in Summerset Isles, Elsewyr, and Black Marsh but Schuster says Valenwood is "most likely next."
As of present, there are mixed dates as to when the new game would exatly come out. For instance, Master Herald reported that it would definitely happen next year and that it is somewhat sure that it would come out ahead of the next "Fallout" game. Design & Trend seconds the motion that the game will be out next year saying that it is most likely to happen in the month of March citing Bethesda's typical release pattern. Venture Capital Post meanwhile believes it would happen this Christmas or in January next year. We still don't know the exact release date as Bethesda has not yet commented on the matter.
Master Herald is also somewhat certain that the announcement or introduction of the next "Elder Scrolls" game would happen during the E3 event. The upcoming "Elder Scrolls 6: Argonia" game is expected to have some new gameplay features. Note that Bethesda have earlier teased players of the ability to explore other parts of Tramiel like Morrowind, Skyrim, Cyrodill, and Hammerfall in the new installment.
"Elder Scrolls 6" is expected to be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
