Although Online Heists' release kept getting pushed back, Rockstar finally delivered last week with the launch of the long-awaited gaming mode. However, it was not without glitches, which may probably irk some gamers considering the game's long gestation.
"GTA Online servers were recently experiencing severe outages owing to numerous bugs that crept up with the release of Heists DLC for GTA 5," International Business Times reported. "Rockstar Games has promptly rolled out the 1.08 stability and security bug-fix update for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles in Europe and the United States."
This good news is certainly welcome. But wait, there's more - "renowned" YouTuber DomisLive recently revealed a "full two-hour gameplay video on Final Bank Heist Mission (aka The Pacific Standard Job) with hard difficulty, wherein Dom is joined by three of his friends: XpertThief, iCrazyTeddy and TrendyVlogertech," IB Times said.
Based on what Dom narrated in the clip, the mission cost him $100,000, which was necessary to set up all the needed gear and weapons. The said final mission is the hardest of the lot.
With this video, you can certainly use it to brush up your skills or improve your strategy for the said stage.
It can be recalled that you can only play the Heists mode if you're already level twelve, have a high-end apartment in GTA Online, and have downloaded the update. If you tick all the boxes, you can lead one of the Heists missions. You'll get into this mode via Lester's call.
"After the initial meet and greet he sets up an operations center in your home, complete with a map of Los Santos, storage space for you heist gear, and a whiteboard that outlines the plans," Game Informer said.
"The leader of the heist is responsible for putting aside a sizeable amount of money to cover the costs of the setup," the site went on to say. "Leaders also don't get paid until the actual heist is complete, with the other players getting paid for each setup job."
The gaming news source suggest that you take on the missions with friends, "because you never know what you are going to get with randoms."
"You may run into selfish leaders who offer paltry rewards for helping them in a heist and impatient players who may quit after a failed attempt (of which there will be many as the difficulty ramps up in later heists), kicking you back into the tedious process of forming a new group," the site noted.
