Although the Samsung Galaxy S3 is set to be released on May 3 in the city of London, it seems that the company's highly anticipated new smartphone already underwent an unofficial unveiling.

According to Engadget, the device may have been leaked in Vietnam via a Vietnamese web site called Tinhte.

According to Tinhte, the Galaxy S3's specifications include a 4.6-inch HD display with a 720 x 1184 pixel resolution, a quad-core 1.4 GHz processor running the Ice Cream Sandwich OS in addition to 1GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera and 16GB of microSD storage capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 will also come with eye-tracking technology according to a report by CNet's Andrew Hoyle allowing people to activate certain functions, locking the screen for example, by looking away from the screen.

Other rumors state that the front-facing camera's resolution stands at 3 mega pixels.

In the video, the Galaxy S3 is seen to provide various photographic options including color balance, ISO, and visibility.

Engadget tried contacting Samsung for comments but the response was:

"We will be able to tell you more at the 2012 Samsung Mobile Unpacked."

The Galaxy S2 sold more than 20 million units globally and is Samsung's smartphone flagship device.
