Samsung will be unleashing a flurry of handsets in the coming months in an attempt to give consumers who want more variety a home. Not only do they have the Galaxy S3, and Galaxy Note 2 out already; Samsung is already readying a Galaxy S3 Mini, a Galaxy Nexus 2, and a Galaxy S2 Plus.

For those of you interested in the Galaxy S2 Plus, a new set of benchmarks for the Galaxy S2 Plus (model GT I9105) seems to have to leaked out through AnTuTu benchmarks. With a dual-core processor, the Galaxy S2 Plus scored a 7,458, and seem to be running Android 4.0.4. But rest easy, even if the Galaxy S2 Plus does launch with Ice Cream Sandwich, it will most likely get an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade, since even the normal Galaxy S2 is slated for one.

Recent reports also point to a January 28 release date. This is later than previously expected, but Samsung's phones are doing just fine now, and the South-Korean company might want to give the Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 2, and Galaxy S3 Mini some more time in the spotlight.

Website SamMobile claims to have received the specifications for the Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus GT-I9105.

According to them, the Galaxy S2 Plus will feature a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 480X800 (the same resolution as the Galaxy S3 Mini). The Galaxy S2 Plus should come in 16GB and 32GB variants, with a 32GB microSD slot. It will feature an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

There is no official word from Samsung, and there probably won't be since it has its hands tied up with Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 Mini launches, but expect details to begin trickling out in the month of November.
