The official website of the upcoming "Tekken 7" arcade game is now available. This was announced on the game's official Twitter page. Here is Tekken Project's original tweet:

According to Attack of the FanBoy, this tweet, when translated to English means, "official Tekken 7 website is now open."

"Tekken" game director Katsuhiro Harada, meanwhile, announced through a separate tweet dated February 3, that the game's official release would be in "mid-March."

It has also been noticed by Attack of the FanBoy that the list of game characters has also been included on the game's official website. Here's the list of characters so far:

We are not yet sure whether we'll get to meet other new characters soon.

A separate report from Attack of the Fanboy earlier said that the arcade version of Bandai Namco Games' upcoming "Tekken 7" will come out in February 18. This was also revealed by a Japanese arcade place called Super Nova Fukushima on Twitter. However, Harada announced on Twitter that this is just the pre-launch and that the full launch will be in March.  

Harada was earlier quoted by Crossmap as saying that there were at least 40 people working on the game production. 

When asked about the game, Harada kept mum. "It's very difficult to talk about; Obviously, I had originally planned to release it much earlier than we're currently looking at," Crossmap quoted him as saying. He however, declared that the new game installment will be their "big thing for the next while."

Harada also refused to talk about the upcoming "Tekken X Street Fighter." He stressed that their focus at the moment is on "Tekken 7." However, he provided some hints about "Tekken X Street Fighter."

He was quoted by Crossmap as saying: "People have been talking about the game ("Tekken X Street Fighter") for such a long time that they aren't going to be surprised if you just release it normally...I don't know if that's what we have planned, but we do plan to have some kind of surprise."

Harada also revealed, according to the news outlet, that he would love to develop a new game which is not within the "Tekken" franchise. More specifically, such game would involve gathering popular gaming characters from the '80s, '90s, and 2000.
