Sunday, Fernando Arau was nominated for the second time with Maxi Iglesias being nominated for potential elimination for the first time.
To open the night Maribel Guardia premiered her latest hit "Loca". She then became the fourth judge for the night.
Bobby Puldio was the first dance a bachata sung by Henri Santos. Lily said he started off really well but was inconsistent. Horacio said he was good but said that it was his best performance to date this season.
Henri Santos danced "regional Mexicano" while Bobby Pulido sang. Lilly was first to comment and said that she loved it. Bianca was also thrilled by the charisma and the connection he had with his partner. Horacio hated the performance and the scenery. He said that dance was not good, which resulted in the audience booing him.
Alicia Machado then danced a merengue. Lilly said that she was spectacular and looked like she had fun. Bianca said she was good but gave her some technical tips. Horacio said that she had transition issues but that she seduced the dance floor.
Maxi Iglesias danced disco. The audience went wild but the judges were not as enthusiastic. Lilly said that he was tentative and lacked energy. Bianca said that he was a bit confident but too rigid and lacked swing. Horacio said that he was not fluid and once again the audience booed. Horacio said that he could care less what the audience said because was trying to guide the dancers.
Argelia Atilano then took on an urban dance. Lilly said that hers was the best urban dance of the season. Bianca said that Argelia understood the style well. Horacio said it was her best dance and that he looked forward to her improving.
Maripily danced merengue. Lilly said that she used the dance floor really well with a lot of security. Bianca was surprised for how much fun Maripily had and Horacio said was a hurricane and stole the show.
The last dancer of the night was Fernando Arau who danced a fun Rock in Roll. However the judges were not thrilled as Lily and Bianca said that he lacked energy even though his moves were good. Horacio said that his dance was mediocre and was shocked at how much he has been deteriorating in his skills. After everyone danced, famous merengue singer Olga Tanoan sang the official premiere of her latest single "Mala."
Afterward Bobby Pulido, Maxi Iglesias, and Fernando Arau were asked to dance again as they were the weakest of the night. Fernando Arau was not able to dance again because of his leg problems. As a result he was automatically nominated for elimination. Bobby Pulido danced a merengue that proved too be difficult for him. Then Maxi Iglesias danced rock-n-roll wonderfully. Out of the two dancers Bobby Pulido was saved.
