Excited to see what the new Samsung flagship phone would look like? Then here is a leaked photo showing what could probably be the design of the new phone.
Based on the photo provided by Sam Mobile, the new Samsung Galaxy S6 will have curved edges. Also, its home button looks taller and more circular than what its predecessor, Galaxy S5, has. The headphone jack and the microUSB port can be found on the device's bottom tip part. Meanwhile, the buttons for the proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and the front-facing camera have been moved to the left side of the phone. The device also has separate volume buttons placed on the left side.
In a separate report, Sam Mobile revealed that the new Samsung Galaxy S6 would have a 5-inches screen size. It cited the data provided by Zauba as source. According to the table, the new phone has the model number SM-G920V. It added that the device is still "for testing and evaluation and not for retail sale." It also showed that the device is priced at 25,169 Indian rupee or more than $400.
Sam Mobile said readers and fans should take this information with a pinch of salt as it is still unknown and unconfirmed whether that device is just a prototype or real.
Android Origin earlier reported that there is a possibility that the new Samsung flagship phone would arrive earlier than expected. According to the news outlet, since it has been reported that Samsung would ditch Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 chips due to some overheating issues and would just release the new device using its own chips, then it is logical to assume that the new device would be launched and released earlier than everybody has expected.
The Android Origin report says the new Samsung flagship would probably come out in the market earlier than March or April, considering Samsung's launch history. It noted that the previous Galaxy S4 phone had a March launch date. It was then released to the market the month after that. As for the Galaxy S5, the launch happened during the February Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last year. It was then released in April. As for the new Galaxy S6, it is assumed that it would be unveiled during the MWC this March. Then it would be available in the market about two to three weeks after the official announcement.
Aside from the Exynos processors, the new device is believed to get a Quad HD (2560x1440) display, the new Android 5.0 Lollipop update, a 3GB RAM, 32/64/128GB storage, 16/20 megapixel main camera and 5 megapixel front camera. The rumors about Samsung's new flagship device came after it has been reported that the firm is embarking on a new project called "Project Zero." The name which is a first in the company indicates that it is creating the new device from "scratch" and on "an entirely new vision."
