iPhone 7 Release Date, Specs & Features: New Concept Photos Out

Apple has just released its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus several months back but rumors are already circulating that a new iPhone is already on the way. As more people get excited about how the new Apple device would look like, some artists have created designs for it.

The latest concept images came from Yasser Farahi of Oval Picture. Check out Farahi's iPhone 7 concept image here.

According to his designs, the new device would be available on two new colors -- Wine and Copper. Check out the Wine-colored iPhone 7 here. View the alleged Copper-colored iPhone here. The new iPhone would also probably be available on its original colors -- Silver, Space Grey, and Gold.

Farahi conceptualized the new iPhone as a device with two speakers on it - one on top and another at the bottom. The design also shows the new iPhone with a 12 megapixel main camera with True Tone flash and optical image stabilization. Based on the images, it will also get an upgrade on its front camera as it is shown in the design to have a 5 megapixel FaceTime shooter. It also get the new Touch ID feature currently in the new iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and iPad Air 2.

The spec sheet provided by Oval Picture says the new iPhone would weigh 114 grams and will have a screen size of 4.7 inches. It will have 1920x1080 resolution. It will get a 5GB RAM and will be available on 32 GB, 64 GB , and 128 GB variants. It will also probably get the new Apple 10 chip and iOS 9. It will also now be charged wireless.

Of course, these concepts are really interesting but these are still unconfirmed as Apple has not yet issued an official announcement about it yet.

An earlier rumor earlier said that the new iPhone might have a pop out joystick in it. According to the Daily Mail, there is a plan to make the classic iPhone/iPad home button a spring-enabled button that pops out when the need arises. View the actual photo of the plan here. The joystick pops out every time the user clicks the home button once. A single push back on the slightly elevated button brings it back to its original place. Despite this, it has been made clear that the current Touch ID fingerprint sensor feature of the home button retains. This however is still not confirmed.

Earlier, it was also speculated that a new flexible iPhone 7 is gonna come out soon after the United States Patent and Trademark Office granted Apple a patent to create a flexible device.

According to other rumors, the next iPhone would get a facial recognition feature and a camera upgrade, which could reach as high as 21 megapixel camera with DSLR-quality lens. It is also speculated that two iPhones -- iPhone 6S and iPhone 7 -- are expected to be released this year. Stabley Times predicted that the iPhone 7 will be out in September, following the spring release of the iPhone 6S. It also noted that the iPhone 6S would probably be released with the new Apple Watch.
