The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has already started releasing in international markets, but if previous high-profile Samsung launches, such as the Galaxy S3 have told us anything, the launch will be staggered. As of now, Vodafone has joined Three as the only two carriers in the United Kingdom to offer the Galaxy Note 2.
Vodafone lists their Galaxy Note 2 price as free, with a £47-a-month contract over two years. An upfront payment of £49 will allow you to opt for a £42-a-month two-year contract. Both come with 2GB of data usage and unlimited calls and texts.
Carrier Three came out with their Galaxy Note 2 version earlier this week. Three's pricing plans start at £34 a month with a £69 upfront cost. More pricing options are available on the official website, which also lists a pay-as-you-go version for £499.99.
Those of you who use O2 will still have to wait. The carrier is confirmed to start selling the Galaxy Note 2 soon, but no official details have been revealed.
Carriers Orange and T-Mobile will be getting an LTE version of the Galaxy Note 2 starting October 15. Everything Everywhere, the parent company of Orange and T-Mobile, will be unveiling its LTE network in the United Kingdom on October 30, allowing Galaxy Note 2 users on Orange and T-Mobile to take advantage of it.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 comes with a 5.55-inch HD Super AMOLED display and a 1.6GHz quad-core processor running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It also features an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera, and the S Pen digital stylus.
