Looking to buy a smartphone this fall? This year's unprecedented smartphone hype has offered customers two of the best smartphones to date: the Apple iPhone 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S3. Both handsets are technically solid, but here's a kicker - the Galaxy S3 will be $150 less on Black Friday through Sprint.

That's right. Customers will have the opportunity to pick up the hottest Android smartphone out there for a mere $50 on Black Friday (which falls on November 23, 2012) with a standard two-year contract.

Website EnGadget posted the deal which was revealed to them by an anonymous tipster. The Sprint ad says that the Samsung Galaxy S3 will cost $50 on "Friday Only," referring to Black Friday. It also says "Unlimited Edition," which should allude to the Sprint's unlimited data plan.

The 4G Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3 comes with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box. It's 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display pushes out a resolution 1280X720. The Galaxy S3 is also equipped with an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera. It is available in both 16GB and 32GB models.

The Galaxy S3 is also scheduled to receive its Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update by the end of 2012. The update has already started rolling out in Eastern Europe, but expect it take a little longer to hit the states due to region and carrier approval.

Carriers AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and U.S. Cellular all offer the Galaxy S3 as well, but for $199.99 (as does Sprint at the moment) for the 16GB model. There is no indication yet if the other four carriers will also drop the Galaxy S3 price for the shopping season.

If this deal strikes your fancy, you might want to line up early, as there will surely be tons of hungry shoppers looking to snap up this amazing phone at an amazing price.
