2K Sports is continuing to build the excitement for "WWE 2K15" due to hit the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 18.
But instead of merely focusing on the new features of the video game, the developer is focusing on the exclusive "MyCareer mode" in an effort to get players into the 'solo wrestling career path' mindset.
"MyCareer mode takes players through the life of a prospective WWE Superstar allowing them to experience the journey of being a rookie and working towards the ultimate goal of winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship," says Gamezone.
Game Informer reports that "WWE 2K15" has just released a latest making-of video that focuses on a particular wrestler's path to stardom.
The video intends to tell fans and gamers of the video game that there's really more to becoming a professional entertainment wrestler than donning a pair of tights and picking one's entrance music to the squared circle, details the site.
The clip features some of the training that wrestlers undergo on their way to potential wrestling stardom and also some the key decisions that gamers have to make on "WWE 2K15's" MyCareer mode, added Game Informer.
The video below gives a glimpse of how things go at the WWE's Performance Center in Orlando, notes Game Informer.
Prospective wrestler work out and learn to handle themselves in the ring. They are then taken in to the WWE NXT program. If they become impressive enough, they could be elevated to the WWE roster, explains the site.
Similarly, in MyCareer mode, a player would have to start from the bottom of the ladder to eventually become a main event WWE Superstar. That means, he needs to undergo training, go through NXT, and when he piles enough victories, he is promoted to the main roster, details Gamezone.
The site disclosed that there is also a probability of getting injured in the MyCareer mode similar to a real wrestling career. "Injuries won't force your wrestler to retire, but they can put a stop on your momentum as you will have to take time off to heal it."
And just like in real WWE wrestling, a player in MyCareer mode can actually win a 'Money in the Bank' WWE contest and cash the winnings too, says Gamezone.
One of the highlights of the released video by 2K Sports also "shows how players can take their created characters from Orlando to trading slaps with John Cena," reports Game Informer.
