Not to be outdone with the early promotional ads of several major U.S. retailers for the big Black Friday retail sale on November 27, Sears and sister store, Kmart, have jumped on the bandwagon, too.
Sears and Kmart have released their Black Friday flyers, showing the big discounts that they would be giving out to customers, particularly for those in the hunt for appliances, reports WXYZ Detroit.
WXYZ Detroit says that Sears and Kmart have been reeling from the domination of U.S. retail giants, Walmart and Best Buy. But the struggling sister stores may be able to pull something off with their Black Friday deals.
Sears termed their deals as "Black Friday Doorbusters," with over 1,000 discounted items up for grabs starting November 27, at 6 p.m.
As the leading home appliance retailer, Sears carries reputable appliance brands like Kenmore, Craftsman and Die Hard, cites BFAD.net.
"Sears is a great place to hit if you need a new refrigerator or washer/dryer," WXYZ Detroit says.
But there is more to Sears than just appliances. It is also a shop for apparel, fitness equipment, automotive parts and repair, as well as lawn and garden tools. The signature brands it carries make Sears a trusted name in home and good services, adds BFAD.net.
WXYZ Detroit lists the main highlights, as indicated in the retail store ads: the Kenmore French door fridge for $999, the Kenmore front-loading washer-dryer combo pair for $799, the RCA 40-inch HD TV for $249, and the Craftsman three-drawer garage craft center with drill for $99.
The store shall also be offering between $10 to $40 discount coupons to early bird shoppers on November 27.
According to Consumer Reports, Sears discount deals on TV come November 27 are a "mixed bag".
"But it looks like the best doorbuster deals will be on a few Samsung sets," it notes.
Sears shall be rolling out, on Black Friday, a Samsung UN55H6350 120Hz 1080p LED/LCD smart TV for only $800, which is $200 off from its standard retail price, points out Consumer Reports.
Samsung's 60-inch UN60H7150 240Hz 3D TV set will be priced at $1,300, down from its current price of $1,700. A $400 discount on a TV with excellent picture quality is a nice savings in any language, notes the report.
There are a few more Samsung TV deals on Sears come Black Friday with discounts ranging from $100 to $200, but many of these are in limited quantities so buyers really need to come to the store early.
Kmart's Black Friday ads meanwhile, feature major discount deals on appliances and toys, among other items.
