Sony has released on November 3 the list of free games for November 2014 for PlayStation Plus subscribers and a number of gamers seem to have been surprised by the company's last-minute changes.
Up until November 2, the company has yet to come up with a final and official lineup of the November 2014 free games for PlayStation Plus that caused gamers anxiety and annoyance.
What's worse, there was no announcement or explanation at all from Sony what seems to be causing the delay. The PlayStation Plus blog on Reddit details the gamers' strong opinions of how Sony poorly handled the situation.
"I don't understand what Sony (is) planning. Unless they're changing the lineup, which seems very unlikely as the Instant Game Collection (IGC) is decided months in advance, what good does refusing to announce the titles of the November free games?" says one PS Plus blogger.
"They're probably angering more people especially when the free games are announced and nothing has changed," he added.
Product Reviews also noted how Sony deviated from its usual routine in releasing the November free games.
"We were the first to reveal the free PS Plus games for November 2014. Our article came right after a video appeared with the full PS4, PS3, and Vita on PlayStation's YouTube channel. But the video was later pulled out along with a tweet that received a lot of dislikes," explains Product Reviews.
PlayStation Plus subscribers have found the situation really weird, notes the report.
"While a delay could be possible, or even a change in more extreme situations, most fans and gamers think an announcement needs to be made with a simple tweet to explain what happened," points out Product Reviews.
As to the issue that many gamers do not like the IGC lineup for November, one blogger on the PlayStation Blog on Reddit said, "I don't think the games are that bad. I think the value is the issue though. Yeah, it's still $60 worth of games but these are games that you could mostly get for nothing from the Humble Bundle and other recent sales."
