It looks like this fall will be giving us a lot more Jelly Bean. Some key devices will be getting Android 4.1 Jelly Bean updates, including  the Samsung Galaxy S3.  Now it looks like the older Samsung Galaxy S2 will be getting the latest Android operating system.

The Samsung Sweden Facebook page lists Android 4.1 Jelly Bean updates for Samsung devices.

It has the Samsung Galaxy S2 Android Jelly Bean upgrade listed as coming out in November. Samsung Galaxy S2 LTE owners can expect an Android 4.0 update in the fourth quarter of 2012.

The webpage also says that the Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean upgrade will be coming out in either October or September. U.S. consumers will have to wait a bit longer though.

The updates listed are for international, unlocked Samsung handsets. Those with the listed handsets in the United States have to wait for wireless carriers to approve and distribute the update.

Android operating systems are slow to catch on due to the development process. Google releases a vanilla version that is then tweaked by handset and tablet manufacturers to fit each device.

Reports from around the internet have pointed to Samsung releasing a number of Android Jelly Bean updates this coming fall. Website SamMobile has also stated that the original Galaxy Note is also a likely candidate for a Jelly Bean update.

Samsung will also release the massive, 5.5-inch Galaxy Note 2 in the United States with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean by the end of 2012.
