Now, we will update this with a list of Samsung phones that will get the update. It's not yet written in stone, but The Android Soul released a list of Samsung devices that are most likely going to get the latest Android version soon. Here's the list: Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo, Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini, Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, Samsung Galaxy Alpha, Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime, Samsung Galaxy K Zoom, and Samsung Galaxy Ace Style. Users of Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini, Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, and Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport will be the first Samsung phones that will get the Lollipop update. The Android Soul said the Android update for these phones is expected to be released in December 2014. Owners of Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, AT&T Samsung Galaxy S5, T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S5, Sprint Samsung Galaxy S5, Sprint Samsung Galaxy S4, and Samsung Galaxy Alpha will get the update in January or February next year. The Lollipop update will be available to users of Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note Edge in February or March. Users of AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 4, T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 4, AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo, Verizon Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime, Samsung Galaxy K Zoom, and Samsung Galaxy Ace Style can get the update by March or April. Meanwhile, the updated Android version will be available to Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and Sprint Samsung Galaxy S4 by May or June while owners of AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 3, T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3, Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 3, AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4, T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S4, and Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 will have to wait a little longer as it will only be available to them by June or July 2015. The Lollipop update will also be available to some Samsung tablets. The first tablets to get the updated Android version are Samsung Galaxy Tab S (both the 8.4 and 10.5 inches), Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro (8.4, 10.1, and 12.2), and Samsung Galaxy Note Pro (8.8, 10.1, and 12.2). Users will get the update in January or February. Meanwhile, users of Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 (7.0, 8.0, and 10.1) and Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition will get the update by March or April.
