Colombia Vs. Chile 3:30 pm
Chile was absent from action on Friday but has been solid through six matches with four wins and two losses. Colombia was revelatory in their match against Uruguay in which they scored four goals. Prior to that match, the Colombians had only scored five goals in five matches. Star Scorer Radamel Falcao scored his second goal of qualification and looked dynamic in the early going of the match.
This match will be decided by the two defenses defense however. Colombia's defense has been decent in qualifying but was porous against Uruguay. Colombia got by unscathed because of the Celestes's inability to finish.
Chile's defense has been mediocre throughout the tournament, allowing 10 goals through six games. That ties the highest total among the top six teams in the standings. They allowed the ten goals in their first four matches. They lost 4-1 to Argentina and 4-0 to Uruguay in two of those three games. However, they have not relinquished a goal in their last three matches. Their offense (11 goals scored) is dynamic and could give Colombia tons of trouble.
Prediction: 2-2 draw.
