Apple's newest smartphones are set to be released later this week, and now it's time to focus on their other product: the Macbook Air.
In a report by Hallels.com, it was said that the new MacBook Air is not only going to be more powerful than the previous versions, but it will be slimmer with better Retina display, much like its MacBook Pro counterpart.
Reports suggest that the newest laptop from Apple will be released by December, but there has been no confirmation yet, besides, with the delay on the Intel technology, it may not be launched until mid-2015 at the earliest.
In an article by MacWorld UK Intel chief executive Brian Krzanich has previously said about the delay, "We said we would have products on shelves for the holiday season and we continue to work with our partners and we're on schedule to have product on shelf in the holiday."
MacWorld noted however, that the company has already introduced the 2014 MacBook Air back in April, and although this is the case, Apple is still tweaking the notebook to boost battery life. It was also said that it was tweaked to be less expensive than its original price.
The MacBook Air features, however, had more solid update sources.
According to Macrumors.com, Apple is planning to offer the machine in silver, gold, and space grey colours, consistent of the iPhone lineups.
It will also include Intel's Broadwell processor and retina display that will make it more powerful than ever, as reported by Hallels.
In the same article, it was also suggested that the MacBook Air will specifically feature Intel's Core M, which is no less than a wonderchip that will allow Apple to create an even slimmer notebook. Supposedly more powerful than other Intel products, it also does not require a fan to remain cool, ensuring that it is possible for Apple to have an even thinner design.
Christian Post also suggests that the 12-inch notebook will boast both the portability of the 11-inch current version, and the efficiency of its 13-incher.
On the other hand, website Digitimes noted that Apple will also release a 27-inch, 5k resolution iMac by the end of this year as part of the UltraHD panels, but it will come with a price. According to The Epoch Times, the UltraHD Monitor will cost about $630.
As for the launch of the product, Macrumors reported that Apple may be able to launch the new MacBook later this year, probably in October.
