The rumors of a 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display is getting stronger and reports state it could launch before the iPhone 5.
According to PopHerald, Apple is looking to do "soft" launches for two of their devices ahead of the iPhone and iPad Mini.
MacRumors reported that KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo released a new document outlining his thought on Apple's upcoming products for the remainder of 2012. Kuo stated that delays in production have affected plans for the iPad Mini and new iMac.
"Our survey shows that Apple will take the wraps off quite a few new products in September and October. From a marketing and sales point of view, too many new products in a short period of time is not a positive thing," stated Kuo.
The KGI Securities analyst reported last month that all the upcoming products would be released this month, but believes the plans will instead see the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display and the 21.5-inch iMac will make their debut sooner than later. With the early release of the two before mentioned products, it will give Apple time to focus on the iPhone 5 and iPod Touch.
Kuo reported that an updated full-size iPad and an updated iPod nano will make their debut in October with the new 27-inch Mac and iPad Mini.
According to Kuo, the iMacs will not have Retina Display but that Apple is working on ways to improve the display quality. Kuo also believes the iPod nano will feature Wi-Fi connectivity and a larger screen.
