The Apple iOS 8 is most likely to arrive this June, same day as when Apple will begin their annual Worldwide Developers Conference. The annual event of the Cupertino-tech giant is when they usually reveal their latest gadgets and operating systems.

The biggest news of all about the mentioned event is the unveiling of the iOS 8. Previous reports say that the latest Apple OS will feature a brand new set of updates which include a speculated Healthbook app, LAPTOP senior writer Daniel P. Howley writes. The health-focused app was first seen through leaked images over the previous months.

Aside from the highly anticipated Healthbook, the new Apple iOS 8 is also believed to feature an updated Apple Maps. The most recent rumors about it state that it would have a new augmented reality that will take advantage of the live camera view of the iPhone. Many are expecting for the Maps app to also offer a bulk of mass transit info.

Apple adds a promise to their fans that this year's WWDC event will feature the future of their iOS along with the OS X, The Inquirer states. There are also several talks that the company will also release their new Macbooks along with access to the freshest tools and technologies to thousands of Apple engineers.

"We have the most amazing developer community in the world and have a great week planned for them," Apple SVP Phil Schiller said. Various developers can already inquire for tickets starting April 7, 10:00 PDT. Last year's tickets for the WWDC 2013 event were sold out in just a couple of minutes.

Apple will then inform users who were selected in the drawing for that particular day. The tech giant usually begins the event with a keynote address from the chief executive according to LA Times.
