It looks like the 1D boys have met their match. Watch as One Direction become seeds that bloom into flowers, all thanks to a supposed French photographer.
The video, which seems to be a promotional vid for the boys' new scent, "That Moment," starts off with Liam Payne and Niall Horan. Nialler even said that the French photographer is known to take one of the best photos when it comes to scents.
"I take the picture and then from looking at the picture you can tell how the perfume smells. That is why they ask for me. That is why they ask for Girolle," said the French photographer. Girolle was not alone, as a fragrance visualization expert named Rochelle, was also in aid. Rochelle demonstrated skills in "conveying the smell in the face," as Girolle puts it.
Harry Styles seems to have had no problems all throughout the shoot - effortlessly making all the right faces in time for Girolle's cue. Liam Payne also only had a few troubles with trying to find the right spot. "I didn't know that's how you shot them," he managed to quip.
However, Louis Tomlinson seems to have struggled a bit trying to convey sweet love. The 1D member was asked to convey a "sweet warm face" after he said that his "that moment" was love, which he later described as sweet. Girolle reprimanded Louis' first try, saying "No! That face is cold and dark!"
The French photographer calls on him, "Can I speak to you for a second? What's wrong, man? What's wrong with you?" to which responded to with "Maybe I'm just a little tired." Girolle convinced, "I didn't wanna say anything but as far as I'm concerned, it's all about you."
What Louis didn't know is that Girolle was actually saying the same thing to Zayn Malik, who was struggling to pretend that he was a seed. "I want to just photograph you. If it was up to me, I would take a picture of you, put it in the box. Everyone else will be on the inside," said the photographer.
Nialler was also fooled, being told "It's all about you. Forget the other guys. You're scared, yes? Come here, it's okay. It's okay. It's going to be okay." Girolle even broke into tune, singing "It's okay Mr. Niall. Don't cry. It's okay, Mr. Niall!"
