Following a premature mistake, AT&T and the online Microsoft have officially commenced pre-orders for the Nokia Lumia 1520 smartphone.
U.S. mobile carrier AT&T is accepting pre-orders of the first 6-inch screen with the Windows Phone 8 operating system for $199 when the consumer signs a two-year contract.

The $199 price tag is also available if the consumer decides to purchase the Lumia 1520 on the online Microsoft Store. The purchase of the Lumia 1520 on the online Microsoft Store will require the consumer to sign a two-year contract with AT&T, however, a free black flip cover and $50 app card are offered as part of a limited time deal.
The no-contract price for the Lumia 1520, on the Microsoft Store, will cost the consumer $549.
The online Microsoft Store is offering one color option less than AT&T's official website. The Microsoft Store is offering the Lumia 1520 in black, red, and white models while AT&T also features the Windows Phone 8 device in yellow.
The Lumia 1520 can be pre-ordered with three other payment options. Instead of a two-year contract, the consumer can purchase the Lumia 1520 with a one-year contract for $449.99. The month-to-month price tag for the device with AT&T will increase the Lumia 1520's cost to its regular price of $584.99.
AT&T is also offering the Lumia 1520 under its AT&T Next plan for $27 per the next 20 months.
With the pre-order of the Lumia 1520 on AT&T's official website, the consumer can receive a $20 app voucher for the Windows Phone Store and access to the cloud storage app AT&T Locker.
"The Lumia 1520 is the first Windows Phone on the market with a 6-inch 1080p full HD screen," said AT&T's Senior Vice President for Device Jeff Bradley, in a statement. "The large screen and extra real estate not only accommodate more Live Tiles, but also give you more room to view photos and videos on leading social networking apps or presentations on PowerPoint. The Lumia 1520 is a natural fit for AT&T's blazing fast 4G LTE network and our industry leading portfolio of Windows devices."
"Our stores celebrate personal choice, so we're happy to offer our customers the ability to purchase the exciting new Nokia Lumia 1520 device through Microsoft retail stores," said Microsoft's Senior Director of Marketing and Experiences for Microsoft retail stores' Kelly Soligon. "Microsoft retail store customers not only get access to this great new Windows Phone from Nokia, but they can also have a chance to customize it from top to bottom and receive a complimentary, personalized setup session with a Microsoft retail store associate."
In regards to a release date, AT&T noted the smartphone will be shipped on Nov. 19 while the online Microsoft Store has the release date on Nov. 22.
As Latinos Post previously reported, the online Microsoft Store launched a webpage for the Lumia 1520 for consumers to accept pre-orders. The webpage was removed within the day with Microsoft stating the page was activated prematurely.
The Lumia 1520 features a screen size of 6 inches with 1,920x1,080 resolution. The camera specifications for the device include a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera and a front-facing camera with 1.2 megapixels. The Lumia 1520 will only be available in a 32GB internal storage model, even though the Microsoft Store has a 16GB variant. The device has 2GB of RAM and offers a microSD card slot for an additional 64GB of storage. The battery capacity for the Lumia 1520 stands at 3,400mAh, which offers up to 25.1 hours for talk time in a 3G network, and approximately 780 hours on standby.
