Proving that the Surface tablets can be used for educational purposes, Microsoft released a new advertisement titled "Teacher."
The 30-second commercial features an educator, possibly an actor, admitting that he's old fashioned but is aware "change is coming."

"All my students have the brand new Surface," said the teacher. "It has the new Windows and comes with Office, has a real keyboard, so they can do real work."
The advertisement noted the Bing Smart Search feature that allows people to "find anything in the world" and even "last night's assignment."
The 30-second advertisement quickly noted the battery life of the Surface "lasts and lasts" and how it can be efficient providing Skype, games, and the teacher's favorite "homework."
The educator concluded the advertisement stating, "Change is looking pretty good after all."
The advertisement comes after Microsoft released the second-generation Surface tablets across 22 countries.
The first of the two new Surface tablets is the Surface 2.
The Surface 2 features a 10.6-inch screen with 1,920x1,080 resolution at 208 pixels per inch. The Surface 2 offers 32GB and 64GB internal storage models with 2GB of RAM and a microSD card slot for an additional 64GB of memory. The Surface 2's rear-facing camera has 5 megapixels with 2,592x1,936 pixels while the front-facing camera is improved with 3.5 megapixels. The second-generation tablet utilizes the new Microsoft Surface 8.1 RT operating system.
The second Surface tablet is the Surface Pro 2.
The Surface Pro 2 is equipped with the same screen size and display specifications as the Surface 2 variant. The Surface Pro 2 is available in 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB internal storage models. The Surface Pro 2's front-and-rear-facing cameras have 720p HD specs. The Surface Pro 2 has the Windows 8.1 operating system.
As seen on the online Microsoft Store, the Surface 2's 32GB model is priced at $449 while the 64GB has a price tag of $549. The Surface Pro 2's 64GB model will cost the consumer $899. The 128GB model is priced at $999. The 256GB and 512GB are priced at $1,299 and $1,799, respectively.
The Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2 launched on Oct. 22 in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and United States. Meanwhile, China will get to see the tablets sometime in November.
