Grand Theft Auto 5 has many different secrets, collectibles, and other items players can find and use to help achieve 100 percent completion in the game. One of the requirements for completing the game is finding and successfully completing the entire list of stunt jumps found within Los Santos and Blaine County. To help out with this epic task, here's a guide for finding all the stunt jumps in Grand Theft Auto 5.
There are 50 stunt jumps found within the game, and players must successfully jump each and every one to get 100 percent completion for the game as well as the Show Off trophy/achievement. This is different from many of the other collectibles and side quests for the game, which only require the player to complete some of the tasks in order to get to 100 percent completion for Grand Theft Auto 5.
Stunt jumps can be tricky, because players must land in a certain area on all four wheels to get credit for the jump. This can be difficult due to players hitting the jump at an odd angle or going too fast or slow and messing up the jump. However, players can adjust their vehicle in mid-air using the left analog stick to make sure the vehicle hits the right spot and on all four wheels. In addition, players can use Franklin's special ability to slow down time while driving to make sure they stick the landing just right. Another useful strategy: use motorbikes to complete the jumps. They're fast, lightweight, and are much easier to get all wheels on the ground. However, failing to complete a jump on a motorbike usually ends up costing the character dearly. Players can easily fly off the bike and die, where cars have less of a chance of killing a player with a bad jump.
The key to finding stunt jumps is to explore around Los Santos and get used to finding the subtle clues that an area hides a stunt jump. For the most part, these stunt jumps are not easy to find ramps and gaps, but rather pieces of equipment or naturally formed ramps that players can experiment with. For example, one stunt jump requires players to jump from the Del Perro Freeway Overpass to the La Puerta Freeway below. There is no sign that this is a stunt jump location, other than one broken section of the railing.
