The Google Nexus 5 has yet to rear its head, but it looks like almost everything about the device has already spilled into the Internet. A new leak indicates that the phone will be coming to Sprint's network, raising the question of whether Verizon will carry the phone too.
The tip comes via @evleaks, who has a reliable track record leaking information about upcoming mobile devices.

His latest tweet simply states "Coming to Sprint," although he gives no release date. The Google Nexus 4 never landed on Sprint or Verizon because those networks use CDMA, unlike AT&T and T-Mobile, which both use GSM. If Sprint does indeed receive the Nexus 5, then that means there is a CDMA variant in the works, and Verizon would be foolish not to offer it to its customers.
It is, however, unclear whether the CDMA Nexus 5 will be a separate model, or whether all Nexus 5s come with both GSM and CDMA support. Whatever the case, we'll have to wait until Google announces the smartphone for confirmation.
The Google Nexus 5 is rumored to sport a 4.95-inch 1080 Full HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked in at over 2GHz, and an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera. The phone should also run Android 4.4 KitKat at launch.
Google has not given the press a release date, and speculation is still running high about when the Mountain View search giant will unveil the Nexus 5. Most of the money is on a reveal around the end of October/beginning of November, with Android 4.4 KitKat making its debut alongside the anticipated smartphone.
