Specifications for the alleged Lumia 929 include a 5-inch screen with 1080p display utilizing the Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor. In regards to photography, the Lumia 929 is rumored to sport a 20-megapixel rear-facing PureView camera.
As spotted on the Windows Phone Central forums, a forum member posted an image of an alleged Lumia 929 device. Based on the image, the Lumia 929 will run on the Windows Phone 8 mobile operating system, packs a screen resolution of 1,080x1,920 pixels, and is labeled as the "Nokia Lumia 929."
A 45-second video was posted showing the Lumia 929, however, the user took it down from its YouTube account.
WPCentral Editor-in-Chief Daniel Rubino noted, "From the appearance alone, it looks very similar to the Lumia 928, also found on Verizon. The device can best be described as square in the front with a rounded back. The device in the video is all matte black and there is nothing particularly stunning about the device, though we bet the hardware is drool worthy."
The news of the Lumia 929 comes as Nokia confirmed and revealed three Lumia devices: the Lumia 2520 tablet and the Lumia 1320 and Lumia 1520 smartphones.
The three aforementioned Lumia devices made their debut at Nokia World in Abu Dhabi on Oct. 22.
