Daylight Savings Time has reportedly caused a glitch in Apple's latest mobile operating system.
According to AppleInsider, iOS device owners have stated they awoke to a display error message on iOS 7's calendar app due to the switch to Daylight Savings Time on Oct. 27.

"Several AppleInsider readers have reported the line indicating the current time is displaced by one hour in the calendar app - for example, at 12:15 p.m., the calendar app draws the 'current time' line in the slot for 1:15 p.m., despite displaying the correct time beside the line and in the system notification bar," reported Apple Insider's Shane Cole.
Apparently this isn't the first time Daylight Savings Time caused trouble on Apple's iOS devices. For iOS 4, a bug failed to properly shift alarm schedules when Daylight Savings Time concluded.
In regards to iOS 7, the new bug does not appear to affect alarms or calendar events that have previously been scheduled as the times were adjusted accordingly.

Coincidentally, the bug comes as Apple launched the third update for iOS 7 on Oct. 22.
As Latinos Post reported, Apple rolled out iOS 7.0.3 for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices featuring "improvements and bug fixes." The fixes include an issue that prevented iMessage from sending messages to some users, a bug preventing iMessage from activating, and an accelerometer calibration issue.
To install iOS 7.0.3, Apple device owners can tap "Settings," then "General," and select "Software Update." iOS device owners can also connect their gadget to iTunes for the update.
iOS 7 launched on Sept. 18 for the iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, iPhone 5S, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, iPad mini and the fifth generation of the iPod touch.
The last iOS 7 update was iOS 7.0.2 on Sept. 26. According to the Cupertino-based organization, the update also featured bug fixes that previously allowed someone to bypass the lock screen's passcode and reintroduces a Greek keyboard option for the passcode's entry.
