iPad 5 Release Date for US Cellular 2013: Apple Inc.'s (AAPL) iPad Air Tablet Confirmed for November 8 Launch, Coincides with iPhone 5s Debut [Video]

The United States (U.S.) fifth-largest mobile carrier has announced its release date for Apple's latest 9.7-inch tablet.

U.S. Cellular confirmed the iPad Air tablet will be available for purchase starting Nov. 8. The mobile carrier also revealed the tablet will be equipped for its 4G LTE network.

U.S. Cellular, however, did not reveal its prices or data plans for the tablet.

The mobile carrier will also release the iPad mini with Retina Display, also known as the iPad mini 2, but a date is unknown.

The Nov. 8 release date for U.S. Cellular also coincides with the carrier's launch of the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s. As Latinos Post reported, Apple's latest fifth-generation smartphones will debut at U.S. Cellular on Nov. 8, but as seen with the iPad Air, the prices were not disclosed.

The Nov. 8 release date will come a week after the tablet is launched in 42 countries on Nov. 1.

As Latinos Post noted, the iPad Air is set to launch worldwide on Nov. 1 in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Macedonia, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and United States.

According to Apple's official website, the 16GB iPad Air will cost the consumer $499, the 32GB model is priced at $599, $699 for the 64GB model, and $799 for the 128GB variant. With cellular data, the 16GB model cost $629, 32GB model is priced at $729, $829 for the 64GB, and $929 for the 128GB variant. It is unknown if U.S. Cellular with offer the same price tags as Apple or offer a minor discount.
