Apple launched the first advertisement for their fifth-generation 9.7-inch tablet and has teamed with a "Breaking Bad" actor for the occasion.
The one-minute advertisement, titled "Pencil," features the narration of actor Bryan Cranston talking about how an "extremely simple" tool can also be very "powerful."

Despite the many different background scenes shown to the viewer, one variable that remained constant is a pencil on a table.
From a house setting, library, music room, conference room, designing room, to a classroom, the pencil is shown in one position as the camera slowly zooms in.
To the listener, it sounds as if Cranston is talking about the many positives of a pencil. In reality, the "Breaking Bad" actor is talking about Apple's iPad Air tablet, which was placed behind the pencil.
The conclusion of the advertisement focused on the thinness and lightness of the new 9.7-inch iPad.
