Apple's new iPad Air tablet is set to arrive at T-Mobile, and the mobile carrier announced new "Un-carrier" plans for the occasion.
The iPad Air and original iPad mini will debut at T-Mobile starting Nov. 1, while the second-generation iPad mini with Retina Display will launch in later November.

To mark the tablet's arrival, T-Mobile will offer the iPads at $0 down for qualified customers.
In addition, all iPad owners with T-Mobile will receive 200MB of free 4G LTE data every month. Customers who already own an iPad and are subscribed to T-Mobile will automatically receive the 200MB of data, without the need of contacting the mobile carrier.
"When you buy a product as amazing as iPad, you should be able to connect when and where you want, simply and affordably," said T-Mobile President and CEO John Legere. "By offering free data for life with incredible upfront pricing, T-Mobile is un-leashing customers to fully enjoy iPad as it was meant to be enjoyed - mobile and connected."
T-Mobile customers are able to select more data while not signing any annual contracts or data overages with the carrier. T-Mobile will offer daily, weekly, and monthly options for adding 4G LTE data for one's tablet.
The mobile carrier's $10 per month offer is available that will include an additional 500MB of data on top of the 200MB T-Mobile automatically added. For $20 per month, the tablet owner can receive 2GB of data.
For "flexible" T-Mobile customers, the carrier offers daily and weekly passes as alternatives to the monthly fees. The daily pass includes 500MB of 4G LTE data for $5 per day while the weekly pass will cost $10 per week for 1GB of 4G LTE data.
The iPad Air's 16GB model has an introductory price of $0 down with 24 monthly payments of $26.25. The iPad mini with Retina Display will be available at $0 down with $22.08 per month. The original iPad mini will cost the T-Mobile consumer $17.91 per month but at $0 down.
The 32GB models will see a price increase instead of $0 down. The 32GB iPad Air has a $99.99 down offer and $199.99 down for the 64GB model. The 32GB and 64GB models, however, have the same monthly payment requirement of $26.25.
The iPad mini with Retina Display's 32GB and 64GB models have a $99.99 down and $199.99 down price, respectively, but have equal monthly payments of $22.08.
In addition, the carrier will launch the Google Nexus 7 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 tablets. The Nexus 7 tablet will launch on Nov. 20, but the Samsung tablet will debut at T-Mobile on Nov. 1. The two tablets have a $0 down price but the Nexus 7 will cost $16 per month for the next two years and $19 per month for the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.
As Latinos Post reported, "Tablets are supposed to be un-tethered like smartphones, but it hasn't worked out that way because people know carriers will charge them an arm-and-a-leg for mobile data," said T-Mobile president and CEO John Legere. "Carriers figured out a long time ago that they could make money - a lot of money - by forcing customers into restrictive, overpriced data plans. We changed it for smartphones and we're changing it for tablets."
