Apple's gearing up for the launch of new devices as it shut down its online store this morning.
As of 10 a.m. EST, the online Apple Store closed featuring the statement, "We'll be back. We're busy updating the Apple Store for you and will be back soon."
Apple has previously shut down the online Apple Store, temporarily, hours before an event. The event would consist of the introduction of new products from the Cupertino-based company.

As Latinos Post reported, Apple sent invitation for an Oct. 22 event. The invite showed the upper half of the Apple logo in white with its stem flowing in various colors such as red, blue, yellow, purple, and green. The invitation did not hint the purpose for the October event, but reports speculated it would be for the second-generation iPad mini, fifth-generation iPad, and the Haswell-powered MacBook with Retina Display.
The event has been confirmed to start at 1 p.m. EST from the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, Calif.
Apple will be live streaming the event on its official website. The live stream for the October event is a contrast from September's debut of the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s. Apple's Sept. 10 event was not streamed live to the public, however, the Cupertino-based organization later added video of the keynote presentation online and on the company's YouTube account.
Apple does have requirements when it comes to viewing the upcoming keynote presentation. Live streaming for the Oct. 22 requires Safari 5 or later on either OS X version 10.6 or an updated version of its operating system. The live stream will also take place on "second-or-third-generation" Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later.
