The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has been on the market for approximately three weeks, and the device is already getting updates for security and stability's sake. Most recently, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is getting its second update for stability improvements, according to Samsung watching site SamMobile.
The update looks to be a pretty minor one, noted SamMobile, as it's only 29MB (though you'd still probably want to hook up your phablet to WiFi to get this one).
The changelog on this second update in three weeks mentions "stability improvements" and actually - not much else.
If you're looking for the upgrade, it's build number XXUMBJ3, but it's only available right now in a few regions of Europe, including the United Kingdom, Romania, Greece, and others.
It's available through OTA (over the air) or through Samsung's updating software, Kies.
To force your Galaxy Note 3 to check for the update, go to Settings, then About Phone (in "More") and then Software Update.
Europe, especially Germany, where SamMobile sourced this update report, seems to be a favorite place for Samsung to begin its updates, so if you're in the United States or elsewhere, you'll probably have to wait just a bit before the roll-out heads your way.
Similarly, the Samsung Galaxy S4 has begun getting a roll-out of the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean upgrade, but it's starting in Germany first, and rolling out to other countries in Europe, before the U.S. versions of the handset begin to see the update.
