The Samsung Galaxy S4 is set to receive its Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update within a couple weeks, but for those who can't wait, there's good news: a new near-final build has leaked.

For those interested in flashing their Galaxy S4s up to Android 4.3 ahead of time, firmware I9505XXUEMJ3 is now available for download thanks to SamMobile. The software is only compatible with the Galaxy S4 model GT-I9505 and should be pretty indicative of what to expect in the official rollout. According to SamMobile, who leaked the build, the firmware should contain everything there will be in Android 4.3 — in other words, there shouldn't be any major new additions that aren't already in the leaked build.

As always, exercise caution when flashing unofficial builds. There's always the chance there are a few major bugs embedded in the code, so be sure to back up your Galaxy S4 before doing anything.

For those not interested in risking their Galaxy S4, the official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean firmware should begin rolling out on the airwaves within a couple weeks. A recent SamMobile leak hinted that the download could arrive as early as Oct. 19.

Samsung has been aggressively attempting to update its lineup to Android 4.3, presumably to bolster the Bluetooth 4.0 LE support (which can only be found in Android 4.3), and the Galaxy S4 is the first of a few devices to receive the upgrade. The Google Play edition of the galaxy s4 has already been bumped up to Android 4.3, and international variants should be next. Carrier-tied models like those from AT&T or Verizon might take a couple extra months to get Android 4.3.
